Body kit and Gas Mileage

ok so I know in some cars a good full combat kit can really affect gas mileage at 65mph.
I have heard of a gain or loss of 5 mpg on other cars (Prelude, Trans Am)

has anyone with a body kit seen any noticable loss or gain If so, what kit are you running and how much is your car lowered?

The drag coefficient on a WRX is pretty bad, but not as bad as some, I am just wondering if anyone has had any luck improving it.

Most of the body kits for WRX's aren't over done like a lot of Honda kits. I have yet to see a WRX with a huge bumper that sticks out 2' in front of the car, or with one of those bi-level fiberglass wings. So, I don't think you will see much of a difference.

aww but my car wont look right with my 6 inch Tach mounted in the center of the dash without a 6-inch bumper extension to match and my undercar lights wont look balanced without a Fighter-jet Wing

j/k

so your skirts did nothing? I have heard of even subtle body kits improving 1/4 mile times, which usually means less drag or more downforce/traction or more cooling (funnel effect). And most of those factors can translate to better mileage.

I probably won't actually be acting on the info (at least not with my First WRX), just bored and curious.
