That pic remind me of a subie around where I like but its black with bright orange rims.

IMO not a fan of yellow rims just something about bright colors is just like GIVE ME ATTENTION....LOVE ME!!!!!!

Ok, like mesh better than factory plastic madness.


And then.....


Still needs a little tweaking and than the sides need done, tomorrow ill post the finished product.
Only cost $20

That first basket was a bit too small for the center section, here is exactly what I used.
$12 basket, $7 can of valspar metal black paint- three coats

Ok, so they are installed once again, not sure if ill keep the sides like this or not.
I will be moving the Wrx emblem from my trunk to the front center where the old Subaru emblem was.

Once everything's painted one color, I think yours will look just fine... and for a fraction of the cost! I paid $124 and change (plus shipping) for my Grillcraft grill six years ago. On the bright side, the powdercoat has held up extremely well.

Quite simple, yank yours out, take out screws than cut and form the mesh to the size and shape, reinsert screws and fight like a bitch to get the clips back in place. (Think ill double side tape on the bottom once I paint the car for extra support)

John, I won't have my car after this year so who knows how my spray paint will hold haha

Nice job and fabrication idea Blaze. Looks good! I def wanna do something about all the fake/plastic "mesh" in my fenders and bumpers soon. Subarus idea of mesh looks ridiculous on the 10'+ WRX
