Best scratch remover???

Well I went to ask advice from my dealership (theyre cool about this type of stuff). Along with the keys to the car they gave my dad a card for a lawyer that deals with traffic tickets.

He said that I should first try a scratch remover type of stuff, like a compound. He said that that will take most out but he said most likely I will have to get my bumper painted.

How much would you think to get a side skirt, back bumper, and front bumper painted. He said a few hundred dollars for it done right.

Gotta rid my rex of my accidental rally marks.

Gotta say, I had it buried somewhat when I entered the gravel and spun. Gravel was thrown 100 feet in any direction. It was sprayed in the bushes and all over the road and the parking lot across the street.

Scary as hell dont do it. I almost had to change my skivvies afterwards. I stopped in the middle of the road and started sweating I was so scared. POTENZAS SUCK!!! I was only doing like 45-50 in a 35mph corner and they gave up the road.

Alright I got 2 estimates for my WRX back bumper and side skirt. 541 and 481. I decided to go to one of those U-Wash places and wash it and then got some wax at the car parts store that was designed to take out scratches in blue cars and it came with a scratch crayon. That got it most of the way out and I dont think Im gonna pay to re-spray.

How much is touch up paint from the dealership?

Ok well I waxed her up. Still didnt go away scratches too deep. I picked up some touch up paint because it was so low on the body and un noticable. So I painted it and waxed that paint and it is un noticable now. Just a small dull spot if you are really looking.

OK, I have some scratches on my car...

I just washed it for the first time today and now I have 3 scratches on the hood after going to a place where you wash it yourself. The one on the hood is like 3-4 inches and 2 more are like 1 - 1.5 inches.

What should I get to remove it?

I bought a wax that was designed for blue cars. It really helped on the little stuff! I will go outside and get the name of the wax for you.

Sweet, much <3. How big were your scratches? I don't think mine are extremely deep, but I can feel the biggest one with my finger.

Well let's just say mine were from a branch or log so they were quite big, but the little branch marks came out and I couldn't really feel them, I dont know it was a while ago. I will grab the name here in a minute...I'm too lazy lol.

Thx man, it means a lot. I think my scratches came from the brush at the self-wash place... needless to say, my car is too much of a blessing for it to get any more scratches. I'm gonna have to baby it and do it myself.

+1 for that. Heck, I bought mine with some scratches on it but I really didn't care about them. I can get that fixed without a problem.
