Back up Camera

For Christmas I got a back up camera for my 04 STi. Today I decided to install it. Didn't take long to realize there isn't going to be an easy way to run the wiring. So my question is, do any of you know an easy way to get wires from outside the car at the rear license plate to inside the trunk? Obviously I could get out my drill and make a hole, but I don't want to do that. I'll have a shop do it before I start drilling holes in my car. I tried to follow the wires for the license plate lights, but I can't get my hands in there far enough to accomplish anything

Pop off your trunk interior, takes a few minutes and you'll find the hole you need to use. Should be a geometry somewhere to poke through.

There are 2 vent holes with flaps in your trunk. You have to unclip your interior trim to get to them. I would not recommend many other places to run it as it would risk water getting in if you don't know what you're doing. If you think you can get the wire to follow the license plate lights (straight shot), get a metal coat hanger and tape your wire to it in such a manner that won't damage the wire or anything you poke.
