Aftermarket Fog light covers

I have an 02, and i did a specific search on ebay to get some fog light covers for my car and i got these:

I've tryed to put them on in every which way i can think of, but it doesnt look like these are made for my car, but they specificly say "02-03 fog light covers" so im wondering if the plastic peice that comes out from the fog light monting area needs to be modified, or has anyone delt with these same covers? I wish they would fit cause they would look so coool !Cry! Help?

I can’t see your picture, but one problem I had with my fog covers is that the bolts supplied with them were wrong, that was easy to fix.

Try to post your picture again.

One rex to rule them all, One rex to find them, One rex to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. In the land of Subaru where the RE92s lie.

I've got authentic STI mesh covers and the only hardware for mounting was a bracket that bolts to one of the existing fog light holes, and a screw to attach the cover to that bracket. There are two notches at the top that click into top, and a little clip thing on each side that wedges between the plasic fog light housing and the bumper beam. My only cpmplaint is that the screw is all rusted to the bracket (not on the front, but in the threads) so I can't really easily take off the cover for washing the car.

Wrong year impreza

Those look like covers for an older impreza (I'm no expert on which year). The bumps on the side look like the lines on the 99ish impreza 2.5 RS. Shouldn't be any bumps on an 02-03 style fog lamp cover.

Anyone know of anything like that for the '04s yet? I don't want the STI cover's because I'd like to keep my foglights but some kind of screen like that would be nice. Thanks

Thats exactly what this does, it doesnt replace you fog lights, but cover them for what ever reason you might need them for, that and they look cool. SO what everyones pretty much saying is that i bought the wrong kind? Im starting to think the same thing, but i dont understand why something made for an 02-03 wrx, doesnt fit!

I think they were mistaken in telling you it was for a 02-03. Or they shipped the wrong thing. They have these same covers for 02-03, but they just don't have thos bumps coming from the side.

I just installed mine today, simple. Uhh, mine don't look like that with the bumps, i'll post pics monday or sooner, but the bracket mounts to the bottom outside screw of foglamp, then put the notches into the holes, and fix it around until the hole for the screw lines up with the bracket, I had to bend it a little, but it fits. I love them!!!!
