affordable replacement headlight housings?

hey guys,
i've been doing some work on my girlfriend's 05 wrx...... and now that the car is running and looking better, the browned/foggy headlight assemblies are looking really bad.
the oem replacement assemblies seem pretty expensive.
i've seen some aftermarket assemblies painted black with projector headlights that look pretty sharp. they claim to be plug n play.
so.......... what AFFORDABLE PLUG N PLAY replacement headlight housings do you all recommend?

check online. i got my black housing lights on ebay that turned out great and they were less than $200 shipped. they were direct plug n play. just an idea. i know a lot of people on here say stay away from ebay but ive gotten a ton of name brand parts for my rex for cheap .

Yeah, I haven't seen a blob replacement from an aftermarket source. Check the classifieds on NASIOC.com.
Or try to buff them out.

That sylvania headlight resoration kit works great. Buddy did his (looked like someone wiped their arse with his headlights). Looks almost new.
