2008+ gauges

I'm just curious as to where the 2008/2009 WRX guys are putting their gauges. The A pillar is not really an option because they now have some sort of side air bag that comes out of there. I've seen one post where a guy installed it on the outside of the dash cluster, next to the far left air vent. I'm not a fan of mounting it on the steering column either.

I am taking my dash out and custom fabricating a home built cluster into where my clock reading goes. thats really about the only option. that or go old school muscle car and put it on the hood haha

if your goal is around 300+whp, i would go with a dash hawk. they are great and extremely accurate from what ive read and heard

The dash hawk looks pretty neat and it's small for ease of mounting but it looks like it only monitors normal OBD II stuff. It's not really an replacement for a gauge of any sort though.

well im not positive, but i think you might be mistaken. if you've seen boost addicts 08 wrx project i think he does all his monitoring with the dashhawk
