07 WRX Wagon Fender Conversion

Hello all, i have a 07 WRX Wagon and i am interested in converting the front fenders to the sedan fenders. I like the wider look of the sedan fenders and i know it has been done before. Im looking for some advice on how to do this conversion properly and not have to worry about rattles/noises after its completed.

Has anyone done this? if so can you please let me know what to look for in parts aside from the fenders? im not sure if the fender liners are different and will need to be replaced also. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Check out NASIOC.com. There are several people that have done it over there with great success.

You need the sedan fenders, of course... the front bumper and the fender liners...

and to make it look right you also need the sedan front suspension to make your front track wider

Thanks for the info, i had no idea the front suspension was different between the 2 models. Any recommendations on where to get the parts? or should i talk with my local dealer?

^A more economic solution for the wide-track issue is with spacers or the offset of the wheels...

IMHO, the body lines of the wagon flow better without the sedan fenders. I just find it awkward for a car to be noticeably wider on the front than on the rear instead of the other way around...

Are you can do it right and do both the front and rear. I have seen it in person. Its pretty awesome when done right. But to each their own. I would start by looking in junkyards or just online, try and leave the dealership out of it.

What state are you from? If you are looking a fender provider then I suggest go online and search for that part. Anyways, both fender have differences.
