The wipers on my 13' wrx are clicking while on. They click twice every "swipe" so once when the wiper goes up the windshield, then clicks again when the wiper hits the bottom of the windshield. Anyone else's 12'-13' doing this?
I noticed it while on intermittent but it wasn't raining hard enough to hit low+ last night. Def calling the dealer today. Just figured I'd ask to see if it were something simple, as the closest Subaru dealer isn't exactly close lol. Thanks though guys
Sounds more like the top of the dashboard or wipers themselves. Def a very distinctive click though. Oh well, a Saturday trip to the dealer this week for me it is. Although an excuse for getting outta the house solo is always a good thing no matter what it is lol!
I have a '10 wrx and noticed the same thing on my drive to work today. It seems to click when the wipers engage and then again when they stop. Seems "normal" to me. The car makes a bunch of other creaks and sounds anyway so I've stopped noticing it as much
Probably a TSB no doubt. It's not ridiculously loud though and I DO have to actually listen for it to hear it...but it's there. And it's pretty rare I'm not permenently damaging my ear drums listening to Drum&Bass anyways so it's certainly something I could get over ROFL! We'll see what the dealers says. I'm about to call them on my lunch break.
U sure it isn't the blades? Mine was doing that too and I changed the blades problem solved. Flip them up so they aren't touching the windshield and see if it still does it
