What would cause no cranking vacuum
Crank no start, has spark fuel and compression but no cranking vacuum. anyone have any idea what would cause this? the only thing ive heard is timing but after checking it everything seems fine. Cant figure this out, any and all advice is GREATLY APPRECIATED. thank you.

Are you sure it's getting spark, air and fuel? Do you smell gas after trying to start it?

i know for a fact its getting fuel, the spark plugs are covered in it after cranking. i tested for spark and it looks to be firing just fine. as for air like i said i have no vacuum but it does have compression on cylinder #1 at 135psi. I dont smell any gas either.

Crank sensor. Try unplugging it and see what happens.

I will try it tonight after work, but just out of curiosity what makes you say that?

the CPS goes out from time to time. He's probably just trying to eliminate things.

i understand that, but i hooked up a scan tool and checked for a signal from the cps and it shows rpm.
