URGENT:: Help with HKS SSQV

Hey fellas,
I have the HKS SSQV, and when I opened my hood today to clean the air filter I noticed that the black screw and nut that should be on the back of the BOV were missing.
I hear they are used to adjust the BOV, but are they important (I assume they are)? And where can I get replacements?
I used duct tape to close it shut, will that hold?
Thx for your help in advance.

They adjust the spring inside it. Tighter and it takes more pressure for it to blow off. Looser and it takes less pressure. It will run without the screw. It might leak a little at high boost levels, but other than that it will be fine. You don't need to cap the hole or anything.

Thx man. I just found out that the nut is an M6 lock nut, so I will get one just incase I decide to sell it later on or something.

No I have two HKS BOVs, since I had an STi and a WRX. So the one I would've traded you would've come off the STi.

You don't need the bolt anyway. I have mine on the last thread out.

Hehe, if you need to know the length etc to replace with let me know, thats what I run.

Regards,

-kobi

Yeah I had two until some drunk FOB totalled my STi. And I already replaced the bolt on the BOV, its a M6 lock nut, and you do need it, because with out you will lose boost.
