I have an '03 WRX and for some odd reason about 10 to 20 minutes after I start driving theres a lag in acceleration and when I shift my BOV does nothing. Can someone please help me!!
Yeah it is my first turbo car, and i know I need to go back to the BPV but this is the first time this has happened. I just found out that my O2 Sensor (Pre CAT) is bad. Do you think that might have anything to do with it??
If your bovstops releasing air, sounds like that's your problem. Either needs to be adjusted or it's getting stuck open, thus creating a boost leak. Also, check intercooler hoses and bov seals. Have you tried your your stock bpv yet? If not, do it!
when I bought the car the BOV was already installed, and there was no BPV. If there was a leak wouldn't it happen as soon as I started driving?? Not 10 to 20 mins after??
Look on nasioc and IWSTI for stockers for sale. Seen em for 20.00 shipped in the past (if I could get on there from work, I would help you)
MAYBE it might be a pressure issue. I'm sure it's not ALWAYS 10-20 mins after you start it. I bet if you warmed it up and then took it for one of those "drive it like you stole it" it would happen almost instantly.

Yeah thats why I haven't drove the car like that, lol. Oh and another problem I found out last night is when the turbo is working fine everything else sounds fine, but as soon as the engine doesn't accelerate like it normally does it sounds hollow (if that makes any sense). Thanks for the help!!
