turbo lag

so id say 3 days ago my car was running funny like at idle the rmps dropped so low that it like fluttered and shot up, the car was wormed up ld say i drove it for bout 10 mins and now when i give it gas i feel like it has serious lagg on the turbo. like i would be driving then i go to punch it and i get like a dead spot then it goes. any ideas o i have a short ram air and a catback but they have been in for awhile now

yea it threw a code while ago and i disconected the battier to try to reset it

i would find out what code its throwing reseting it isnt gonna fix the problem..

Plus one to the above. Get it read and then you can see what the ECU said was wrong with the car. Might correspond with your problem.

what year is the car and +1 to cleaning the MAF sensor and +2 to the taking it in and figuring out what code its throwing.
