Question Tranny vibration

hey everyone i've been searching for a good deal on a wrx in my area and finally found one at the local carmax. I took her for a test drive and she was in great condition all except for something with the tranny. Whenever the turbo kicked the shiftknob would start heavily vibrating, no grinding or anything, just shaking. It was doing this throughout all the gears. Is this something to worry about?? Anyone had this kind of problem? any kind of help would be great, thanks alot.

My shift knob vibrates while driving but not like all crazy and heavily. I think a stronger tranny mount might help that out but I'm not sure.... Just my .02

If it had an aftermarket shifter then it could be that because the stock one has a dampener to reduce vibration. I would still be very cautious about buying a used one and would try to find a cherry one. It's not worth the money saved if it has been beat on although not many haven't been driven hard to an extent. Good luck.
