i wasn't arguing it. i was just researching it. so i sounded less like a gooney.

Also i can't remember which model was the "better" transmission. the AA or the AB

I thought it attached to the pressure plate which dose not come out with the transmission. once the throw out bearing clips into the pressure plate its pretty damn hard to get it off. that is why you have to pull the release lever out before you seperate the transmission from the engine.

I'm not sure if the fly wheel needs to be replaced or not. i haven't seen it. but it already has been resurfaced once.

you can only resurface our flywheels once so it would be in your best interest to replace it

that's what i was thinking. but since i have to order the parts through the dealership, so i can charge it to my account, would it be better to put the SPT flywheel. or should i just put on the OEM?
I know the old addive. stock tranny = stock clutch. just asking if it would be better.

cash at this moment is something i don't have. so that's why i have to charge it to the account. sucks cause i have 2 payments coming at the begining of the month and could buy the parts then. but they won't let me use the new "loaner" that long. so i'm kinda forced into getting the parts from then only because of time.

so would the SPT clutch and flywheel cause me problems down the road?

i'll probably go with the organic clutch 8mm. and just get the oem flywheel.
I'm not sure if they ordered it or not. It was 4:45 on Friday. with memorial day weekend comming up. i was surprised to see any techs still in the shop.

FINAL UPDATE:
I now have the car back and have been breaking in/ learning to use this new 8mm Organic Clutch since Thursday of last week. I'm pretty happy that this nightmare is over. The only small problem that i haven't decided to tackle yet is: The Stealership broke one of my neon tubes under the car. and now the system is useless. I really don't know if its going to be worth the time to get them to replace the tube. in the 3 years i've own the car, 3 tubes have been broken, and none of them have been the result of me breaking them. I think i'm going to put on a mutli color LED system ($300 installed) vs getting the replacement tube installed ($140)

Anyway. thanks for the 2cents of all the peeps that threw in on this. And make sure you tell the story, its not going to hurt my ego any.
