if you are hard on the car then yes, stock wrx transmissions are "glass" if you drive more conservative than others, sure it will last longer. same with awd dsm.
it all depends on how its driven, theres no right or wrong answer but this is the closest you will get to one.
if u are pushing more than 300 hp and expeirience clutch slip, i would try a stronger clutch plate with a new "stock" disk... increasing clamping force but under too much torque, she'll slip a bit
