No it doesn't. Unless you are making a lot more than 300 ft lbs of torque and do a lot of clutch drops and power shifting.

Well, It's mainly 1st and 2nd gears you have to be careful with.

Actually a stronger clutch can make the situation worse. It will transmit more of the shock to the tranny than if the clutch slipped a little. Stronger 1st and 2nd gears helps the most but a lot of people are pushing a lot more than 350HP without any tranny damage. They are just being careful. Some people have bought aftermarket dog ear gears but that is fairly expensive. Others have done STi tranny swaps.

Dog ear gears are straight cut not helical (they don't have synchro's, so you have to rev match).

A Tranny is a transmission.

When you say it is glass it means it breaks easily.

if you are hard on the car then yes, stock wrx transmissions are "glass" if you drive more conservative than others, sure it will last longer. same with awd dsm.
it all depends on how its driven, theres no right or wrong answer but this is the closest you will get to one.

if u are pushing more than 300 hp and expeirience clutch slip, i would try a stronger clutch plate with a new "stock" disk... increasing clamping force but under too much torque, she'll slip a bit

I have a DSM. Im a Subaru Technician. I like to check out the site to help a bit with diagnosis and to learn about the "WRX perfrormance" end of the stick.

What ever you do, do not got with a unsprung hub assemble (Unorthidox Racing). This is the best way to destroy a tranny.

JDMness... Yum!
