Techs-Compressor cycles quickly

I was wondering if anyone else's a/c clutch seems to kick in and out at a rather brisk rate. It seems as though my compressor is cycling every few seconds, at least every minute, tops. I know in most domestics this would be a sign of low freon. Is this unusual for a Subie? My ride is less than a month old, so it SHOULDN'T be leaking 134a.

Don't be too worried about that. It usually depends on the weather - if it's humid, I have found that mine kicks in a lot, and when it's cool and dry, not nearly as often.

Yep. Mine does it too. Usually when it's really humid for some reason. I wouldn't think that has a lot to do with it, but apparently. I had mine checked just in case, and everything came back normal.

When it's humid out, the air needs more conditioning, so the conpressor kicks in more often to get that done.

This is an over-simplification of what's happening, but it gets the point across.
