Lol, I really like that last line of yours. Im looking/hoping for around 375 eventually. I know that EL headers are to be added down the road and who knows what else. But Im saving for the PPGs and axles/diffs myself.

Ok, well tomorrow I get my compression test done and we are yanking off the turbo, intercooler and DP just to take a look at everything. If its the turbo/seals going bad I have the go ahead to upgrade the turbo (hellz yeah). With my parts listed earlier, install, and tuning its going to run me about $4100. Its cheaper than forging my engine, just hope everything else last until I can get around to them (i.e tranny, lol).

I say you should definitely look on NASIOC for the APS TMIC...I got mine brand new in the box for 500...same for the injectors...and right now ImportImage is having a sale on the fuel pump for $79... that there would save you almost $800

Thats pretty nice. I saw it for $650 new, the injectors for about $480, and the pump for $97. I actually emailed SBR (Slow Boy Racing) they are trying to work with me to get a "package deal". The price breakdown is basically $2800 for parts $1300 for fluids, install, and tune.

well to save some more you could def. do all the installs yourself...but yeah right now slowboy is definitely trying to liquidate as there moving down here to orlando in a couple of weeks...I was just talking to Marti a couple of days ago and he basically said that they dont want to have to bring anything down here from up there.

If I had the time and tools I would do it myself. The shop is already cutting me in some nice deals also. Thats exactly who I have been talking to is Marti. Seems like a great guy, really hoping to do business with them.

WRXKidid775 is more helpful than not
Not to bash on vendors, but i have heard some sketchy stuff about SBR, but i have also heard good things... I would almost think that for those power levels you would be better off with a FMIC instead of a TMIC, although with a beastly one like the APS IIRC Shoaf was making like 425 whp on his 35r.

I defected to an evo :)
Evo is gone :(
Now I got nothing.

Thanks for the input and nice to see you back WRXKidid. I was thinking about a FMIC, but it is more, and Im willing to sacrifice a little power to stay "stock" looking. I know numbers are numbers, but Im just aiming for 350-400. And I know that I will be adding to the car eventually (i.e headers, built engine).

Ok well back from the shop. NOT A THING WRONG with the car. Im happy to hear this. I havent had a puff of blue smoke at all today either. Kind of upset also as I was hoping to upgrade the turbo. IDK I still might try and do it (semi goes against the motto "if it aint broke, dont fix it"). Just thought everyone that was so VERY helpful would like to know. Thanks again.

Glad to hear nothings wrong...but if you really want to upgrade the turbo...what if someone just happend to shove a tree branch down your turbo inlet...then it would be broken

Way to bust my bubble Basco, lol j/k. I know what you mean. I have wanted to upgrade the turbo, but wasnt an issue (or drive) until I thought I needed to. Im still waiting to hear back from Marti anyways, see how things work out with him.
