slow gas gauge

Stupid Question. Does it take 5 minutes for everyone else to get your gauge to read full after a fillup? Not a big deal but extremely wierd that it is so slow.

Yea, mine takes a while. Too bad it goes down a lot faster than it goes up, HAHA.

Yeah, it always has taken a few minutes. The reason I think they do this is b/c when you go around corners, acceerate or decelerate very fast they don't want the gauge needle bouncing all around. My old car was like that, I'd go up a hill and be like "shit, almost empty" then get on a flat and actually have 1/4 - 1/2 tank.

Mine reads full pretty fast, usually within a minute or two.
