Shutter during light throttle turbo spool up

Alright guys, maybe you can offer me some assistence. When I am in the turbo spool up range(between 2.5k and 4k) there is a shudder in the vehicle. If i give it full throttle it doesn't happen. All I have done is the removal of the silencer, k$n air panel filter, and Bigger tube connectors on the waste gate pressure selonoid. My buddys VW 1.8t did the same thing, and when we put on a after market diverter valve it fixed the problem.

Any info or answer would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Cory

O and it did this before I did anything to the car and still does it now.

I would check to see if anything is loose in the intake area for where you put the filter. but I have never seen this problem before, so im not sure what is best to do.

I checked to see if anything was loose and nothing was. Also I had this problem before I ever touched anything under the hood. I've seen this problem on the 1.8t from time to time and a simple upgraded diverter valve and a different waste gate control fixed the problem, and as far as I have seen there isnt any companys who sell upgraded boost pressure selonoids.
