Angry rear tires rubbing

I have a 03 wrx wagon. I bought some 17" konig rims with some 225/45 tires. My rear tires are rubbing in the outside fenders when I go around corners w/ bumps at about 30-45 mph. Or with people in the back. It feels like my rear suspension has alot more play then that of a sedan. How should I fix this. Please help.

I'm not too sure about the wrx as I haven't bought my rims yet, butttttt, on my mazda6s I had the same problem. The problem is in the wheel offset. It is somewhere around a 50, so if you put a 42 offset like most rims are, you will have a rubbing problem. 2 choices. Get different rims with a proper offset, or roll your fenders.

easy solution...

stop hauling 300 lb hoochies in the back, the shaggin' wagon wasn't made for that.

like LilSix said, most likely the wheels you put on are an offset of 42. get some fiddies and you will be all set.

REMEMBER: No fat chicks, car will scrape.
