Rear side markers still on..> help

08 wrx, car is off and the rear side markers are still on and wont shut off.. what can I do to fix this?

Do you have the little switch on the top of steering wheel flipped? Do the 3rd Gens still have that switch? Where it keeps the parking lights on?

nope, no switch on top of the steering column, I looked many times! ha

Unplug the neg batt terminal and press the brake afterwards. Leave it off for 5 mins and then reconnect it. Not sure if you have done this yet. If they come back on, it's a short or a bad fuse.
