On your boost gauge what PSI is your fuel cut hitting? your mechanical boost gauge, not your cobb.

there should only be one restrictor pill in the line from the turbo to the "t" . remove the one from the wastegate.

I know its like that for our 02-07, but another member on here has an 08 and his also has 2 pills (why? I don't know). Maybe we should confirm this is how the 08's are before telling him to take the one out that goes to the wastegate.

didn't know it was an 08, (I suppose i could have just opened my eyes to see his screen name) so this may not be true.

Honestly, I think there is a total of 5 maybe 6 people on these forums that have the 08 wrx, meaning I dont think anyone on here knows shit about them. I think your best bet is getting in contact with cobb or going on the NASIOC forums. Just be ready to put your flamesuit on.

Agreed with Z on that one. You 08 guys are really new on the block. Really shouldnt be called a WRX anymore honestly cause of all the changes (interior, exterior, engine) that went into it. Talk to Cobb or search their forums, there is alot of information there.

Call Cobb again.Maybe they can send you a diferent map.Maybe they can change the boost/fuel cut parameter or change your wastegate duty cycle.
