Explain "rattles"

Fix the PS and clean everything. Take care of one problem at a time.

actually id say its more of a tick than a rattle. itll slow down ever now an then.

How many miles are on the car? Just a long shot, but it could be a bearing going bad in one of your pulleys.

the car has 145,000, it has a new bottom end in it. i did notice last night the middle section on the turbo was pretty red. i used to own DSM's and i never knew of the turbo to glow. i noticed it almost have a hesitation to it when i moved it outta my drive way, but if your just reving it, itll rev nice and fast.

middle section?? The hotside? It should never "glow" unless you just ran it hard for 2 hours... check your oil/coolant lines goin to the turbo.

It was glowing In the middle tk back section. I had about hour drive from work home. I had it boosting when I was passing trucks.

I think this might be another difficult issue to diagnose online... definitely fix the PS leak first though.

Had my buddy that's works at a local subaru dealer look at it. Unfortunately its. Internally. Hes thinking piston maybe. So its going up forsale
