Please help me! Rough idle with P0171

Ok this thing is driving me nuts. 2003 WRX wagon 2.0 w/ 5 speed, 147k miles. Just did the heads on it got it running. Had to replace a/f sensor due to damage as well but problem was there before swapping sensors. Now, I fire it up and it almost dies. Runs very poorly, hesitation on acceleration...generally sucks. Now the only code that comes up is p0171 bank lean. Now what info I have:

Fuel pressure is 35-45 both sides of filter
T-belt was double checked and engine spun before putting cover back on
Sprayed carb cleAner around intake tube and vac lines no change
Disconnect MAF and rpm increases, one of the Times I reconnected it the engine died
Unplugged the new air/fuel sensor and NO change (this makes me think faulty sensor?)
I replaced the damaged turbo inlet tube with an aftermarket piece from eBay and the intake itself with a spectre filter and some tubing from o'riellys. Other than intake it's stock.
Tried fresh gas as well but to no benefit. If anyone has any suggestions I'd truely appreciate it. Me and my lady really need this thing off the bench. Thank you all for your time!

K...my wife was so sad when I told her I had to take off the new intake lol I'll try to find another intake setup mine was not usable. Anyone have one I could bum off them? Haha And for the air leak the only hose I didn't replace was the intercooler/throttle body coupler so ill get one of those too. Now that I think about it it makes sense for the intake to be it..ill post up when I find out, thanks!

Resetting the ecu is just unhooking the battery cable for a couple minutes right? I'm new to tuner vehicles, I know that did it on my jeep

Disconnect the neg terminal and hit the brake for a couple seconds... let it sit for 5 mins and then reconnect.

Ok I found a big air leak behind the intercooler, fixed but very little improvement. Verified no more air leaks though. Didn't change intakes as I don't have the 250$ + for the stock one. My next attempt would be the IAC gasket...

No, I'm sure they are on correctly. The line from the filter goes to top, next one down is return, then bottom is evap right?
