P0102 OBD 2 Code, Please help!
My 2002 WRX is throwing the code P0102. Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF circuit had lower than expected voltage (air flow). So I bought a new MAF sensor and it didn't turn off my CEL. I've checked wiring diagrams and have followed diagnostics for voltage problems and, as far as I know, everything checks out. I recently replaced the filter and still CEL is on. The previous owner put a non-recirculating BOV, an aftermarket front mount intercooler, and an aftermarket muffler on the car. He also did a lot of interior mods with some electronics. Right now I have no idea how to fix my CEL and get past emissions next week! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if there are any areas prone to air leaks or anything like that please. At last resort, if someone knows a way to trick the computer long enough to get me past emissions, I will be very thankful.:beatentod

check your air filter

I checked air filter and replaced it. Last night it also was acting very sluggish and it stalled. I had to rev it to keep it from stalling.

try cleaning your MAF sensor then reset the code

I think this is your problem: non-recirculating BOV

Get rid of that thing and install a stock or recirculating bov, reset your ecu, and see what happens.

the BPV recirculates after the MAF sensor so that wouldn't cause a low reading, that's actually what causes the rich conditions inbetween shifts with non-recirc BOV's. His/Her problem is something is either blocking flow to the MAF or the MAF is bad

or that the tune is all sorts of F'd up

I had cylinder 1 and 3 misfire codes on my 02 wrx. I had replaced the spark plugs and the fuel filter and now my car does not want to stay on. The only way it stays on is if i repeatedly press the gas and if i don't it will just stall out. I plugged the computer back in and got the P0102 Code (MAF/VAF Air Flow circuit low input) and P0113 (Intake Air Temperature circuit high input). Could someone please help with this.

Try checking the intercooler Y pipe. Chances are you blew it off.
