Question Oil burning on stock 02 wrx.....

Hey my name is Sean, just turned 20 and bought my first subaru 02 wrx wagon, all stock, from original owners with 68k miles.. when i turn the car on i let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to warm up, once warm i will drive for a while but not hit boost to make sure engine temp is up. for the first 3-5 minutes of driving blue-ish smoke poors out the exhaust. after a while it stops. could it be the pistons or turbo sealer you think? or what could cause it? also after running for a while if i sit for like 5 minutes the engine temp starts climbing pretty high then goes down when i start driving again, and the heater doesnt push out heat unless im driving. could that be my coolant?

Blue-ish smoke doesn't sound good. You likely see it stop after the Catalytic Converter is warmed up and it burns the smoke off before it gets to the tail pipe. It could be a blown turbo seal, or any number of things. You're best bet would be to have it checked out by a local Subaru performance shop (not the dealer).
