Noise from Drivers Mirror

Anyone else notice a Buzzing noise from their drivers side mirror at hi-way speeds? I have an 04 and recently noticed this horrible High pitch buzzing from the air flowing around the seam where you can fold the mirror in. Man it is annoying. I sometimes fold my mirror in to eliminate the sound as it causes my frontal lobe to want to explode when i am driving.

suggestion:
get some foam tape
fold the mirror in
shove the tape in the crease

straighten the mirror back out...
and hopefully no more noise at speed

Unhappy

Yep, I have the same problem. The first time I heard it I thought it was a warning beeping noise telling me I have hit the speed limiter or something, it scared the crap out of me

I FIGURED IT OUT.....Fold your mirror out and see if there is this stupid tiny tag barely visable..almost looks like a price tag sticker..It was stuck on mine WAAAAAAAAAAY back inside the fold and it was vibrating and causing the noise at hiway speeds.

Figures..It was probably a part tag on the mirrors no one took off at the factory. It was funny that some stupid thing like that could cause that annoying insanely loud Noise.

Hi way speed=65 mph+

HA! You were right. I never had the noise probelm, but i found the tag on my 04 wrx. BTW, it's currently for sale on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MESE:IT

I wonder why i did not have the noise issue. Strange
