Are you tuned for the 18psi? I have a stage 2 map and I max out at 17. IMO remove the MBC or at least lower it to 16psi. That is too high for a stock map to handle hence the code. Maybe some cars don't mind the 18psi on the stock map but your seems not to.

I don't think it's tuned, I'm gonna save up for the cobb accessport v3 and see if that helps, I'll turn down the boost but even at 15psi it did it. Could it just be the wastegate itself?

WHAT!!!!! You absolutely need a tune with the way your car sits with those mods. Even a Cobb AP V3 won't be of any help unless you are going to get a Protune from a local shop or an etune. APs with OTS maps are only good for TBE and certain aftermarket intakes. I would recommend not driving the car until you find out if there is a tune on the car. Your cars computer is so confused right now if it is not tuned. Its taking in and releasing more air than it knows what to do with.

Oh your poor car!

I would remove the MBC and Intake completely.

You have added to many mods that truly require a tune. I'm not 100% sure but i believe even the TBE needs a tune for the 06 to run properly but even more so with an aftermarket intake.

For my 05 the stock PSI is 12.5 so even your 15 seems really high for a stock mapping.

Maybe go back to stock and see if everything is better. Than add the TBE. Run that and see. But stop there until you get the Cobb AP. But even then those OTS maps are not designed to have a MBC or aftermarket intake other then theirs.

Hopefully someone chimes in if I am wrong but that's what I would do.

Any opinions on what sort of tune would be good for supporting those mods and any good places in or near NH?
I'm a newbie...

No need to be sorry. It's your car and your wallet.

Also you need the intercooler back on if you are going back to stock. The OTS maps don't account for a larger IC (more air taken in).

Where in NH? I'm in the keene area.

Where did you get the car? Maybe they can tell you if it was tuned for the add-ons. But I would still remove the MBC either way.

If you go on the Cobb website they have a way to search for Tuners they are associated with. Which will be good if you plan on getting a Cobb AP V3. I have one and love it!

After a little searching I could not find a tomei replacement wastegate ( internal or external). I did see plenty of tomei turbos with wastegates though. Are you sure its a stock turbo?
