new radiator leaking

Plese help guys! I just finished wrenching in a new radiator last week and everything was fine until last night. There's a massive leak by the passenger side underneath the car. On this new radiator there is a plastic screw for a "quick" drain which wasn't present on the stock one and that's were the leak is. Should I have plugged this or tightened it? I find it hard to believe that a shitty plastic screw should be holding fluid in the radiator. Also, this quick drain plug sits right underneath the frame making it impossible to even drain it while installed in the car so I can't even mess around with it until I take the radiator back out. FML! Could this radiator be defective?

That screw has a little "o" ring that completes the seal. The stock ones had it in that area you are referring to (passenger side bottom).

Drain it or take the screw out and check the screw for the O ring (also check the threads).
