It's not real hard to do. Worst part is getting the heat shield off. We even have a thread on here about how to do it. Do you have the stock air box and intake? Try replacing the aftermarket unit with a stock one.

if my mechanic messed it upo i anit touchin it, lol. actually ythe first thing i thought the problem was the dirty perrin intake i had on but the problem persisted after the cobb one was put on. at first it seemed better but the hesitation persisted. amd no unfortunately i do not have the stock intake. i think im just gonna take it to a shop and say here it is fix it. no more headaches. at least until i get the bill.

ok so i think on monday im gonna make a appointment at some place. my new problem is when i shift smoothly and i mean smoothly into third the gas doesn't seam to catch right away as it has and it catches later in the shift and after it catches it seams to buck, pretty good actually. so far i have heard to:

reset ecu
go back to stock tune
check coils
bad gas
adjust wastegate

just dont wanna get taken after i bring it in and dont wanna overpay. considering specialty shops charge 95 an hour. could this be the clutch or the tranny? or what? thank u for the patience and advice!

most of it all except the tune and wastegate, which i would let the shop figure out. i just want an idea of whats wrong with it b4 i bring it in. there is no cels. guy from cobb seems to think it is a mecahanical problem, would the ecu be thast effed up that it would causre the car to buck?

I don't really think it's on your ECU. Although I'm not a "mechanic".
Pay the guys to make it right. They wouldn't get paid that much if they were just guessers.
