NEED HELP VERY BAD!!! Up Pipe Install of course

Tonight I started installing the turbo XS up pipe on my WRX and when I took off that bottom heat sheild I realized the sencer that needs to be taken out in order to get the sheild completly off and I cant figure out how to remove it??????? and if theres any other tips that you guys know would be very helpful!!! thanks

i just cut the heat shield below the sensor so it comes off without taking the sensor out first. it makes things alot easier

Unplug the censor cable and take it off after you remove the pipe. The wire goes up to the panel cover on the left side of the engine bay.

what could I use to cut the heat sheild?? Like maybe a hack saw or something????? thats a good idea though man!!!

Yea I didint feel like wrecking the heat sheild so I just went to the auto parts store and bought an o2 sencer wrench... thanks a bunch guys im olmost done with the install after 2 days of 2 hours each!!! ahh its taking for ever
