Need help about my turbo

So my turbo isn't boosting and I have no idea where to start looking. Any advice would be great appreciated. I have a 2009 wrx. No mods done yet.

Check for boost leaks. Especially where the throttle body and intercooler connect, that coupler is known for cause boost leaks.

Can't hurt to take it to a shop and have a boost leak test done, it will save you a lot of time and guess work.

Yeah I had the Sme problem I thought it was my turbo going bad so I bought a used vf39. Then I looked into it a little closer and found that the clamp around the throttle body had come off

When you get the time, its good preventive maintenance to take off that coupler and pull off the rubber boots on both sides, then put it back on and clamp it back down without the boots, those boots are what cause a lot of leak issues.

you can put hairspray on the inside of the coupler to help with slippage.
