ok i got the 16g, sti pinks, sti intercooler, tbe, walbro 255,catless uppipe and all the spporting mods from the cobb website. running 6lbs engine runs clean and purrs but the wastegate was not tight and thats why it was only gettin low boost so i tightend it up and am gettin 11lbs of boost out of it but now it is misfireing in cly3, but as i raised the boost the worse the misfire got and now is a misfire in 1and 3 but it only misfires when the boost gets past half a bar(7lbs), so my question is what could this be?
dont know....something could have got messed up running a tuned map on 6lbs of boost. Try reflashing maybe. Other than that, clogged injectors??? Just guessing though. Might want to take it to your local tune shop. Good luck with it bro

well it was doin the same thing before i did the upgrade, the injectors are brand new. i did take the plugs out and the tips look fine but the porclin looks like they have vertical cracks/ stress marks on them not that bad though, like you cant even feel them with your fingernail, dont know if thats bad or not???. it wont misfire if i keep the boost below half bar(7) lbs or so all the way to redline, it only does it when its boostin higher than 7lbs
replace your plugs, wires, do a fuel induction cleaning. see where that goes, if the problem still persists don't mess with it take it to a pro. i can't begin to tell you how many speed6's i get from folk tryin to tune themselves or diagnos a problem and fixing it. do those three things if problem still persists take to a tech. on the plugs you'd be surprised how even the smallest scratch can make things go hay wire. key tip. if you don't know or unsure of what your doing seek professional help other wise be ready to spend
Again, it may not be that your current plugs are faulty, but that many subaru's "prefer" one step colder plugs after being moderately to heavily modified.

Hate to do this but have you even looked under the hood of a Subaru? They are nothing like a Speed6 or even a Speed3... Actually, they aren't like ANY other car out there. There are NO plug wires since we have coil packs. Second, it's fuel INJECTION not induction. Third, if you look at the people that are on this site, we have all had various problems and found the solutions already. If he does the things we suggest and it still doesn't correct the issue, there are other options we can suggest since there's at least a few of us on here that have had the same problem.
lol good point but we dont need any arguements, i know enough about subies to know what kind of info to ignore. but thx for the help and input, im goin to try the one step colder tomorrow, and besides i think some of the guys on here know more about subarus than a lot of the "pros" or "techs" it just the factor of tryin to describe a problem in text vs. hands on makes it kinda difficult to troubleshoot.
ok got the colder plugs and still no go.! i guess its got to be the coil on that one cyl. my friend was sayin he wasnt sure , " there might be a lot of carbon on the valves and thats may be causein it to misfire/predetenate? does this make any since to any of yll.?
well remember it only does it under laod . it wont do it when i just rev it in neutral
