Lots of white smoke after idling

Basically I've noticed a lot of white smoke coming out my exhaust after I sit and idle for a few minutes. If I'm not mistaken, white smoke means coolant. What could be leaking that it's getting in my engine?

When do you notice it most? Is the car still cold or up to temp.?

Up to temp. And like I said, I notice it after idling for a few minutes.

If thats the case, then I either need a rebuild or a new turbo, right?

I experienced the same thing when my original turbo got up to about 90K miles. I lived with it for a couple of years, monitoring fluid levels closely. Obviously not closely enough as I spun a rod bearing at 137K A newer turbo went on the new engine. My point is, you do not need to panic. Use it as an excuse to plan ahead for a turbo upgrade

Keith
Thanks for the advice.

Cullen
What fluids are potentially being burnt that I should keep an eye on? Oil and coolant?

Oil, unless the center housing is cracked then coolant, but I doubt that is the case. A little oil smokes ALOT!!!
p.s. If you want to avoid down time while your getting yours fixed let me know. I have a spare lying around here somewhere...

I definitely can't afford to fix it right now. I'll keep that in mind though. Thanks for the help.
