Lost clutch pedal
Helping a buddy with his 02 wrx. It's been swap, chop, hack and put back together. The other day, we were driving into town he lost his clutch pedal. Went to the floor and never came back up. Pulled into a parking lot and it smelt like the clutch was burning. Killed the car, towed it home. Pulled the trans and found the clutch itself was good. however. See pictures as to what happened next.
I've never dealt with a hydraulic clutch before. I know there is a push or pull systems out there. I'm at a lose of words on what to do next. The actual housing is leaking fluid near the bottom as if it was lubing the bearing. Still don't have a clutch pedal. There is metal shaving in the housing.
1) not suppose to leak fluid out
2) Is that bearing suppose to come off?
