In the morning when I let my car idle so it warms up, it starts knocking once it gets down to 500 RPM. I thought it was the exhaust coming loose or something, but the engine is definatley knocking.
Can someone ### help? Whats the problem and what should I do?

No, when I press on the gas it goes away. Its only when the car idles at 500. And its like two metal things hitting each other softly. Like a softball bat hitting a ball. Real soft though.

probly gonna be exhaust hitting the body, or some form of body contact.

look closely at the undercarraige, and see.....

look at the downpipe..thats where the most problems are

mine a nice metallic knock.

just got it a few min ago....its the cam follower. again.

this time its the other side head...the one i asked the dealer to fix, because it had seen the same stresses as the other one.

oh well. now i get to fix this one......they messed up WAY too much stuff the last time it was in there. total was 4 bolts loose, 2 nuts missing, o2 snesor finger tight, injector clip broken, and RTV's into place, damaged bumper, greasy handprints all over the car, some sandwich fragments in the floor, and a empty can of diet pepsi.

do i look like i drink a DIET drink?

done venting......for now
