Just checking

I read through a bunch of threads and couldn't find anything similar. Does anyone notice a slight wooshing sound under moderate to heavy hwy acceleration? My girlfriend described it sounding like an airplane taking off (kind of what it sounds like inside the plane). To me it sounds like the air intake. Its not very loud at all but figured I'd check to see if its normal. These cars make some interesting noises. BTW, my engine is completely stock. Thanks!

I thought the turbo was more of a high pitched whine? This is normal then? I figured this was a pretty stupid question, but not what I was used to hearing on my previous twin turbo S4. Thanks for the quick input!

It's usually harder to hear with the stock intake and exhaust, but when you put a new exhaust on you can really hear the turbo spooling and to me it sounds exactly the way your girlfriend explains it (like an airplane taking off).
