Im thinking timing maybe.

Ok started hearing a slite tapping from the engine......nothing major, pretty sure it was the timing at first. Not too long after this started noticing that my boost went from around 18 to 9 psi at full throttle. Now it seems like the engine has no power at all after about 3500 rpms. So what could this be? Or better yet, would the timing affect the boost?

Well if it's a tapping noise that usualy signifies a vavle train issue. But if you have a lot of miles on your car an no aftermarket exhaust it could be a bad cat. The timing belt controls the timing so only if it skipped or streched would that cause your timing to be off or engine work and it was put back wrong. I hope this helps.

Miles?
Mods?

Sounds like a boost solenoid since you're only seeing wastegate pressure. Is it a rapid tapping/clicking from the passenger side? If so, you'll need a new BCS.

If I remember correctly he has all the mods in his speed mod list on his profile installed and tuned by cbrd. Probably the bcs.

Was he taping on the brakes when trying to do WOT pulls? Brakes shouldn't affect the amount of boost output.
