HKS BOV whistle gone

After some work at a shop i got my car back and lost my beautiful whistle. Now its more rapid and quiet, like a "ths ths ths ths" instead of the loud and full vent "piiissshh." The adjuster screw is almost all the way in and i trouble shot by backing it off a few turns with no change. I saw somewhere that the secondary valve may have broke since its made of plastic, so any input would greatly help!! I want my whistle back!

well if it was working fine before it went into the shoip and once you get it back the first thing I would do is ask them why my BOV doesnt sound right. Could have been swapped with a cheap knock off or something similar like that. What was the car in the shop for, anything that might have been invloved with them messing with or around the BOV.

I agree with Jave on this. If anything that was fine with the car before it went in and didnt recieve work should come back just the same. I would definetly call/stop back in and get some answers.
