Angry HKS BOV Not working correct??

I have a SSQ HKS BOV on my 02 wrx. I have had it on there since about 03 and it just recently has not been working correctly. I need to be at a higher rpm to get it to go off and when it does working it seems to go off short. Like a short spurt in stead of the old spuuuuuuuuuuuuurt. I wanted to check my vacume to see if that is it. It seems like it has a lot of pressure but does anyone know how much it should have exactly? I have adjusted the set screw numerous times and it makes no difference. I have taken the BOV off and lubed it with Trottle body cleaner, let it dray and put it back on and nothing changes? I would like to see if it does the same on another car but don't know any wrx owners around here.

Anyone have any ideas?

If your getting a less sound (air) than before I'd say more likey than not you have a boost leak somewhere, it might be tiny. Recheck those vac lines.

I have checked my Boost with my accessport and I am hitting 16psi. I can have the vacume lines checked at the auto store but I don't know what they should be in the first place so it won't do my any good unless I know what those lines should be in the first place.

I just checked the line going into the BOV, should I be checking another?
