hit a curb

well today the northeast is getting its second snowstorm in a week and i figured since i was up at 230 to shovel it i might as well have some fun in it. i decided to do some sweet powerslides and donuts. well one of my sweet slides got a little carried away and ended in a curb. now i have sort of a vibration from my rear wheel where i hit. im thinking its either snow packed in my wheels throwing off the balance or a bent rim. im gonna knock the snow out of my wheels and drive home after classes today and see if that helps. i have two questions. how do i check if the wheel is bent and what else could i have hurt. thanks

You could have bent pretty much any suspension component. If you clean out your wheels and afterward there is no vibration or clunking during normal driving then you probably got lucky.

Yeah, what ryan said. Anything connected to that side of the suspension and then some. How hard did you hit the curb?

i didnt hit all that hard. but it was hard enought to scuff the rim up pretty bad. i knocked the snow out of the wheels last night before i drove home and that got rid of it. i didnt go over 45 the whole way home ### of the snow though so well see how it is this morning

You might've got lucky. I'd get the alignment checked if you think it's thrown off at all. Otherwise keep checking for any vibrations or other noises that might indicate your alignment is off.
