High pitched sound in 3rd and 2nd gear

Okay so a few days ago i nocied that when im in 2nd gear at around 3000-2000 rpm slowing down and, in 3rd around the same rpm there is a strange high pitched noise that comes on and is consistent untill i either put in the clutch or put it in neutral... does anyone have any idea whats wrong?

My wrx only has 20,000 miles and all i have on it is a short ram intake and a 3" catless turbo back along with a protune.

How long has it been tuned ? Did you JUST now start hearing it ?

I got it tuned about 3 weeks ago.. and yes i just started to hear it 2 days ago. any idea what it is?

Does it sound like the gear whine when you USED to downshift to 1st and second.... you know, the stock gear whine....

No im used to hearing that sound in 1st and 2nd but, this is a very high pitched whine only after im off the gas in 2nd or 3rd around 3000-2000 rpm slowing down...

Not a clue, is it in the car itself ? Maybe on the passenger side firewall the hose or grommet comes loose and allows air into the cabin BUT not JUST in certain gears.... Sorry, not much help. Others might chime in to help. If it's just in certain gears, might be something to do w/your clutch......
