HID problem

Okay ya'll, I need some help here. I've had this problem for a while now and it's been eating me up. Ever since I installed my HID's and disabled the DRL's, my headlights would come on by theirselves. When I'm parked and have the e-brakes up, they wouldn't be on, but when I drop the e-brakes, they come on. And this is with my lights switched to off. I disabled the DRL in the engine area and in the glove box. Have this happened to anyone else? Does anyone out there have an idea what is wrong.

I can't tell you what's wrong but it does sound like you've identified the correct issue. Everything your describing indicates the DRLs are still operational. Maybe you disabled them using a procedure based on earlier models and the 07's have a different setup?

when i installed mine they did the same thing, but i only disabled the relay under the hood on the strut tower. when i disabled the relay buy the glove box they shut off. maybe you unplugged the wrong relay buy the glove box.

I'm thinking you disabled the incorrect plug under the hood. Need a pic ?

Under the hood, standing in front of the car, on the left side of the intercooler, down about 6 inches to a foot a grey plug, right?

from what everybody says on the 07's, either cut or unplug the yellow with red stripe wire that goes in the middle of the harness. it's a black harness that plugs up with a blue harness from what I think I can recall.
