Hesitation/mis-fire

Not sure what is happening, but from time to time when WOT, the car will hesitate around 5k rpm, usually 2nd & 3rd gears when I am WOT the most. It's quick, almost like it mis-fired, or coughed or farted... but continues to accelerate there after. Very noticable & annoying. ANY IDEAS?

How many miles are on the car? What mods?

How long has it been since you have changed your plugs?

The set that is in there now are Denzo's. I got them before any mods when the car was pretty new. Currently 39k miles.

vf34
sti inject
fuel pump
sti top mount
turboxs shorti
full compliment exhaust from the block back
ECU-TEK tuned

I thought it might have been temp. changes or just running rich...

Could be, but problems like that are usually electrical in nature.

I would check the plugs first. Densos aren't that durable, so that might be the culprit. If that's not it, see if you can somehow log it and see exactly what it's doing.

What's the easiest way to get to our plugs? Aren't they tougher to get to than injecters? I need to check my but thought it would be too much of a pain.

Well I could not tell you, because when I tried the first time, I said the hell with that.
With all the stuff I have done myself to the car, those plugs were ridiculous. I let someone who has done them before do it.

there actuly pretty easy, if u have the stock air box remove it and there right there, and the other side, just move a few things out of the way and there ya go.
