Help troubleshoot windshield washer

I recently purchased a 2005 WRX and have since noticed that the windshield washer wont spray fluid. I checked the fuse and it was good so I changed the pump thinking that with 70K miles it may have just gone out, no big deal.

After changing the pump it still didn't work. I checked the pump by take the ground directly to the battery which engaged the pump spraying fluid. I do have +12V going to it so I assume that the switch (toggle) connects ground not VCC. Any one have any suggestions as to what I can do to trouble shoot this, I travel a lot and the bugs are starting to get bad! Note: Yellow/Blk wire to power.

thanks

Look on the bright side, at least you have a new pump for the tank!
...and you could use the one you replaced (that probally still works) to power an intercooler sprayer.

Great idea from Nagy there. Should start looking into that since you have part of that setup anyways now.
