having problems with 04 wrx

ok so i picked up my car today and i was driving it around and after about 30-45 mins the car started to sputter a lil bit while accelerating and then once at a parking pulling in in neutral it died on me. it also seems to be a lil intermittin b/c it dont do it all the time but a good majority of the time.

the only things done to the car are a K&N typhoon intake and turbo xs BOV which were on the car when i got it. it looks like it has an aftermarket downpipe too but im not sure.

ok so im still having troubles wit my rex.
i found out that i needed to replace my egt sensor, and also knew that i needed a tune, so i got the tuner flashed to stage 2 and didnt notice a change, thats when i found out my egt sensor was out, so i did the egt delete mod, and it still dont seem to run like it should.

now the car has a k&n intake and a turbo xs BOV, along with headers, UP, DP, so im thinking that my problem lies with the intake and BOV. but im not too sure.

So should i try and get the stock intake do the silencer delete and then get the drop in k&n filter, and then get a recirculated BOV or jus get a stock one?
and will these things do anything to make it run better?

Could be a problem with the BOV since our cars aren't meant to have atmospheric ventilated valves. Some people don't have issues with theirs, while others suffer severe driveability issues with them. The factory intake is good up to around 300 hp so you could always try to track one down to see if that helps. Almost sounds like you have vacuum leak with the stalling out and sputtering.

Around the BPV or BOV and Intercooler. You should probably go with a stock BPV and stock intake with drop in filter.
