Just purchased my 05 wrx in feb. now as 2200miles on it. every 15-20 starts, the car will take forever to start. it will just crank over for about 10-15 seconds. and the rest of the time it will start right up. Anyone else have any problems like this. my car is bone stock so....should i take it to the dealer to have looked at?
My Car started doing this in the winter. I figured out i wasn't giving it enough time in the on position before turning it over. You may already know this but just in case... Give it a few seconds in the on position and wait for the high pitched sound to stop then your fuel lines will be pressurized. Then it should start right up.
ok i will try that. thanks for the advice. i was just concerned because its brand new.
