Great..

Ugh.

Ill get right to the story.

Drove my car to work, fine.
Drove to lunch while at work, fine.
Went to start it up to leave work, no ignition.

Its not the battery, its brand new and working fine.
I think its the starter, it was giving me problems a few months ago, but, I havent noticed any problems at all since I got the new battery. Then all of a sudden, it wont start. I dont understand how it can go from starting so strong, to not starting at all in maybe 2 hours.

I had someone push me so I could pop start it.
I drove home.
I turned car off.
Tried to turn car on, nothing.
I punch the car, ow.
Next day, go to start car, nothing.
Grrrr

Im debating whether or not I should take it down to Subaru today. Its pouring rain outside and I dont feel like dealing with the car right now. Are the maintenance shops for Subaru open today or Sunday?

Im waiting for the rain to slow down and Im going to try a trick someone taught me to tap on the starter with something and try to start it again, see if that works. If it does, Ill have to get another starter.

Anyways, anyone have any idea what else it could be besides the starter, or any other tricks to try to get her going?

Thanks fellas

That sucks man. On the bright side though, it's easy to replace.

Sorry if that's not very comforting.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

Yeah that sucks. You probably hit the one bad spot on the starter... Thing is could be fine fro a while, or tomorrow just go on you. Like Stacy said look on the bright side, Its not that expensive to fix....

Check to make sure it just isn't a loose connection before you go buy a new starter...

If you're getting literally nothing from the car when you turn the key, it might be your clutch sensor. Every once in a while, and usually only when it rains, if I put the clutch to the floor like normal, I get nothing. I have to let the clutch out a tiny bit, maybe like, 1/4 inch, and when I hit the spot, it starts right up. Just something you might want to try, but if your engine actually is trying to turn over, then it's not that. This is only possible if when you turn the key you get absolutely nothing, but the electronics of the car work fine.
