Got in an accident, got my car back but I need help
So it’s been about a month that I haven’t had my Scubie because I was run off the road and smashed over a curb , and damages were pretty bad, around 4000 and climbing so far. So I just got my car back from the body shop and its pulling to the right, immediately I think the alignment is off so the next day I take her and have it re aligned and new rear tires put on. To no surprise my car is still pulling to the right, however this time it doesn’t seem like it’s the alignment. The initial pull to the right did so whenever the steering wheel was perfectly centered/straight, I obviously had to compensate by slightly steering to the left. Now when the car pulls to the right, the steering wheel follows and slightly turns, when I center the wheel the car straightens out, but if I take my hands of the wheel it turns its self slightly to the right again. I have tried this on many types of asphalt so far, on both sides of the road and it still does it. All four tires are brand new... Anyone have any ideas what’s going on?
Also, attached to this post is the initial damage estimate and pics of the accident.
He's probably right. Roads are crowned. From reading the estimate, it looks like they replaced most of the front suspension parts. If you had it aligned, it must be alright. It's probably just in your mind. However, I would kick their butt for getting paint on your BBS wheel !

I have had a bad alignment job before if they matched the stock specs after your accident you are probably still going to be off. I had to take mine to a reputable shop that actually aligned it, drove and the correct what was off even though the first alignment was at the stock specs.
Thanks for the input guys! I think my best bet is to bring it to a specialist and have it finely tuned. Also, what did u mean by getting paint on my BBS?
also if the shop installed all those parts then they should have included a alignment job in the cost and you should not be getting this fixed yourself.
So after bringing my car back for some minor work and new rims, the car rides perfectly straight under minimal load, but as soon as I hammer on it, it pulls pretty hard to the left now (it used to pull to the right under all conditions), any ideas guys?
Try to post a printout of the alignment if you got one. Check your camber and caster angles which will both affect directional stability (a pull.) The car would pull right if the right front camber is more positive or if the right front caster is more negative. It is optimal to have slightly higher caster on the right side to compensate for road crown, but there is no OEM caster adjustments on these vehicles, only camber and toe. Other things that could cause a pull would be tire pressure or a defective tire (causing a radial pull.) Pulling under acceleration that you are now getting could be caused by loose front end parts, worn motor mounts or possibly drivetrain misalignment.
hey just make sure the road u r testing the car is even, in other words if the road is uneven the car will never go straight. If the prob still occurs, then check back your alignment, if this doesn't help then maybe your chasis needs to be check for any hit during the accident.
good luck.

your left wheel is bent outward. when driving it is going to push the steering to the right, and because of theis, the steering wheel is to the right and the right wheel will pull it over.
yeah the body shop fixed all your pretty bumper but what would the body man know about a BENT TIE ROD.
the alignment specialist should know about bent tie rods, unless he didnt know the car was wrecked. but the alignment rack should have told him something.
i would go back and bitch and say you want a refund, or at least notice the bent tie rod the 2nd time around, and what degree it will take to fix it.
